On August 26th 1974, Doug Harvey opened his 9 hole golf course to the public. Then on 17th of November 1979 it was officially opened as a 18 hole golf course by Sir Charles Court and Lady Court. Leon Watt MP also attended the opening ceremony. It still currently being run by Doug Harvey’s grandson.
